Students Compete in Startup Simulation
We announced the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO)’s Startup Simulation Challenge recently. The competition is back for its second year, and for the first time USFSP students will be competing!
The tournament started February 2nd and it is scheduled to take place throughout next month. There are currently 26 teams competing from across the nation. Two teams are representing the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
Team one: Jenna Arnal, Nathen Hedges, Jessica Barnett, Stephen Corry, and Cameron Bradbeer.
Team two: Mark Lombardi-Nelson, Lazar Anderson, Chris Carpentier, Brown Charite, Michael Anadiotis.
The teams will be presented with business challenges to test the team’s knowledge of making solid business decisions. In the opening round, each team will take on the task of competing against computer simulation companies in hopes of securing a position in the finals. The eight remaining teams will go head to head to secure the number one spot.
The final round takes place over 4 1/2 weeks. The teams will be asked to make six key business related decisions. The three top teams will be awarded for their efforts with various prizes.
Wish them luck!
